Award-winning producer Michael Knox can add two more accolades to his collection after the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards where he took home honors for Single Record of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson’s “Don’t You Wanna Stay.”

Recently topping Billboard’s list of Top Music Producers for 2011 in the #2 spot, up from #3 last year, he is no stranger to the award stage, with a CMA Award for Album of The Year – Jason Aldean’s MY KINDA PARTY and he is also associated with FOUR Grammy- nominated projects, including Country Album of the Year, Jason Aldean- MY KINDA PARTY.

Knox is most noted for his production work with country superstar Jason Aldean but has many production credits to his name including Trace Adkins, Kelly Clarkson (collaboration on “Don’t You Wanna Stay”), Bush Hawg, Ludacris (collaboration on “Dirt Road Anthem”), Montgomery Gentry, Randy Owen, Rachel Farley, Josh Thompson, Frankie Ballard, Hank Williams Jr., Brother Trouble and Chuck Wicks, among others. He has produced eight number one career singles for Jason Aldean so far, including “Big Green Tractor,” “She’s Country,” “Dirt Road Anthem,” “Don’t You Wanna Stay” and the recent Mediabase #1 hit “Tattoos on this Town”.

In addition to his production work, Knox manages Sony/RCA recording artists Bush Hawg and Average Joe’s Entertainment recording artist Rachel Farley and serves as Senior Creative Director for peermusic Group in Nashville.
