PeerMusic Hires Michael Knox As Senior Creative Director

Record producer/veteran music executive MICHAEL KNOX has joined independent music publisher PEERMUSIC as Sr. Creative Dir. In his new roll, KNOX will identify and sign talent and work closely with the PEERMUSIC staff in sourcing and developing talent.

While he’s enjoying great success as a producer, he’s a publisher at heart – he loves working with writers and developing talent. This plays well into our overall strategy for growth as well as MICHAEL’s vision for artist development.” Previously, KNOX was employed by WARNER/CHAPPELL, from 1992 to 2002. In that period he signed artist/WRITERS JOHN RICH, GRETCHEN WILSON, EMILY WEST and JASON ALDEAN. His production credits include JASON ALDEAN, JOSH THOMPSON, TRACE ADKINS, MONTGOMERY GENTRY, HANK WILLIAMS JR., KELLY CLARKSON, CHUCK WICKS, FRANKIE BALLARD, MIRANDA LAMBERT, RANDY OWEN, BRANTLEY GILBERT, LOST TRAILERS, CROSSIN DIXON, LILA MCCANN, THE ROAD HAMMERS, DANNI LEIGH, JD MYERS and BUDDY KNOX.
