Jason Aldean is celebrating three weeks at the top of the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts with his whopping 27th career No. 1 “Trouble With A Heartbreak.”
The single is the first song since Taylor Swift’s “Mean” over a decade ago to re-enter the top position on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles chart. The track follows the multi-week Platinum No. One “If I Didn’t Love You” featuring Carrie Underwood, which took home the trophy for ACM Single of the Year and iHeart Country Song of the Year, along with a Grammy nomination.
“It’s a really big deal to me to have a three-week No. 1, especially after all these years doing what we do,” Aldean explains. “The support of country radio and the fans makes me that much more ready to see all of you back out on the road.”
Aldean is currently gearing up for his 34-city “Rock N’ Roll Cowboy Tour,” set to launch July 15 in Scranton, Pennsylvania with special guests Gabby Barrett, John Morgan and Dee Jay Silver. Aldean will also be joined by Tracy Lawrence, Travis Tritt and Chase Rice on select dates this fall.

The Montana native’s record will include 12 tracks which showcase his rock electric guitar and influences from the West which embraces hard and fast-living, the American experience and the blue-collar way.
“I heard ‘no’ from just about every record label around (more than once from some), but all my life I’ve never let outside factors stand in the way of my aspirations—instead the rejection fueled me to dig my heels in more, get a little scrappier and work even harder,” says Montana. “The fact that I’m now about to put out an album as a signed artist kind of blows my mind in the best way—I’m lucky enough to be six feet up instead of six feet under and I celebrate that every day.”
Montana teamed up with award-winning producer, Michael Knox (Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, Thomas Rhett) to build upon his sound which draws influence from the rural lifestyle with a hint of adrenaline. The music is country—but don’t mistake it for southern. Spending years out West and in Butte, Montana, fans will hear influences between Seattle and its grunge, Texas’ roadhouse, Nashville’s country, Wyoming’s Chris LeDoux and the Heartland’s rock.
Fans can get a taste of his new album with his new single “Get Em Up,” an anthem for the blue collar that celebrates the camaraderie, available now.
Country Rocker Performs “Do It Fast” on FOX & Friends This Morning
Country rocker Tim Montana today released his label debut project, Cars On Blocks. In celebration, the Montana native appeared on FOX & Friends to talk about the EP and perform “Do It Fast.” The performance was captured in Tim’s garage in Nashville, which has been host to many performances from artists like Kid Rock and Billy Gibbons (of ZZ Top). Watch it HERE.
Cars On Blocks is Montana’s label debut, having recently been signed to Music Knox Records/BBR Music Group. The four-song EP is an ode to the unique city of Butte, Montana and his trailer park upbringing. The title track (inspired by his childhood home, which still has the wheels on it) and “River Kids” both paint a clear picture of the blue collar Butte life, with “Stronger Than You,” and its apocalyptic melody, displaying the grit acquired from that existence. Produced by award-winning producer, Michael Knox, the EP is Country—but don’t mistake it for southern. His sound, befitting of the off-the-grid thrill-seeker who grew up without electricity, draws influence from the rural lifestyle with a hint of adrenaline.
“Do It Fast,” with its “go big or go home” energy was written in tribute to Tim’s pal and X Games champion, Travis Pastrana as well as Travis’ idol and fellow Butte alum, Evel Knievel. The fast-paced song sonically reflects the sentiment of the lyrics, especially “the key to hard living is to do it fast.” The music video does the same with Pastrana starring alongside 70mph donuts in a Subaru, a flamethrower and will have you checking to see if you got mud in your hair. Watch it HERE.
“Cars On Blocks is really an ode to the junkyard dogs and how I grew up—it took me about a year to write the title track alone because I wanted to make sure people know that it’s a celebration of that low class, ‘if you’re not dirty, nobody trusts you’ mountain life. I am Butte American and damn proud of it.”
Chiefly considered a Country rocker, Montana is a true Renaissance man, moonlighting as a TV personality, marksman, father, husband, foodie, hell-raiser, businessman and—he’ll soon add film actor to his resume (he recently wrapped filming for The Last Son of Isaac LeMay alongside Heather Graham, Machine Gun Kelley and Thomas Jane). Joining the Music Knox Records/BBR Music Group roster is only the latest in Montana’s long list of accomplishments. In addition to starring in his own show, “Tim Montana’s Wild Side” on Velocity Outdoor Channel, Tim is involved in Polaris, Black Rifle Coffee, Fender, Gerber, Giant Bicycles, Indian Motorcycles, Kicker Performance Audio, Orange Amplifiers, Snap On, Traeger Grills, Whisker Bomb Pepper Sauce and more. Today, in celebration of his EP release, he will be taking over Polaris’ Instagram page at 3pm CT. Check it out HERE.
